This position would suit someone who may already be merchandising and is looking to increase their hours. However, individuals with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service or experience of working within a retail environment would be an advantage.

Field Based Merchandiser – Wimbledon / Merton / Morden

Permanent Role

We have the following Merchandiser vacancy:

• Approx. 6 Hours Per Week (plus extra Tactical work)
• Average Hourly Rate: £6 - 8
• Days of calls - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

We provide a range of effective field-based marketing solutions for a growing portfolio of clients. We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible individuals to join our team.

As a merchandiser, you will conduct various in-store activities at our different client stores, which can include weekly and fortnightly calls. This role will involve stock auditing, merchandising a variety of products to plan and POS placement. Rates of pay are based on rates per call.

We are looking for motivated people to join our team of merchandisers working on a large campaign to support the regular renewal of Point of Sale materials in Santander banks.

The role requires that you visit each of the branches on your call list, identify the point of sale to be changed and then make the required changes. You will be provided with the brief to allow you to complete the job properly and you will then upload the results on line so that we can verify your call.

You should be presentable, able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and have a desire to deliver excellent service. Part of the call requires some engagement with branch staff, so good communications skills are required.

You will need to travel to the branches but do not need to carry point of sale with you, so a car is not essential. You will need to have access to a computer with the internet and a printer.

We are seeking merchandisers to replenish POS in selected retail stores, in particular  merchandisers living close or currently completing other visits to these areas in North Wales:

• Bala - LL23
• Gwynedd - LL55
• Anglesey - LL58 and/or LL65

Further details:

• You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
• You would ideally already do merchandising visits regularly and be looking to increase your hours, or live close to the postcode areas we are recruiting for
• The number of stores available will be dependent on location
• Regularity will vary dependent upon client needs
• There may be opportunity to complete other field marketing acitivity in areas close by

Your rate of pay will be dependent upon store, and length of visit. You must have access to the internet and a printer at home, along with a digital camera or camera phone that can take reasonable quality photos. All data from visits will be completed online.

We are seeking intermittent Team Leaders who will be required to lead a team to relocate products on display shelving in B&Q retail outlets for major merchandising projects across the UK.

You will be required to manage a team of merchandisers in a variety of B&Q retail outlets, reporting in to an onsite Project Team Leader.

Requirements

• Experience of leading a team is essential
• You must have a flexible approach to working hours as you will be required to work some nights and weekends
• You must be well presented and have an eye for detail
• You must have a good handling technique and have the ability to lift up to 25kg easily
• Opportunities for role development are available leading to Project Team Leaders and higher rates of pay
• You will be working in the region of approx 50 -55 hours per week over 5 days or nights out of 7
• You must be prepared to spend the occasional night away from home
• A suitable vehicle and uniform will be provided
• You are required to have a full driving licence.

The rate of pay for this work is £75 per day plus a completion bonus. A driving license is NOT essential for this role as an Oyster Card will be provided for the duration of the work.

Sales Consultant – Mars Confectionery

£9.23 ph, plus annual bonus expenses & allowances. A highly target driven, permanent part-time role, various hours available including 20 hours pw, 25 hours pw or 30 hours pw.
