Hospitality work involves using field staff to host and support an event designed that’s been created to promote a brand. By engaging with attendees the field staff role is to enhance the guests overall experience, uphold brand values, and help to deliver any promotional objectives.
Three common examples of where brands use field staff for hospitality work are; at an event or roadshow which has been created specifically for the brand in question; where a brand has invited guests to another event, perhaps as part of a corporate hospitality package; and where a brand has a presence at a larger event alongside other brands, such as at a trade fair or exhibition.
Although sometimes it may be more obvious than others, all of these are occasions where a brand’s underlying objective is usually one of marketing and promotion. So being able to draft in face-to-face marketing staff to help achieve their objectives can be incredibly rewarding.
