Event Work

Event work involves working at events that are created to attract potential customers to a specific location, to enable a brand to deliver an experience to promote their product or service, as shown in the video below. A roadshow is simply an event which moves around from place to place.

Events often involve a stage, set or other installation, but the real marketing impact is often created by field staff who make the event work from a marketing perspective. These staff use the event as a focal point where they can deliver face-to-face marketing activities and manage the engagement process. There are lots of different types of event work, including:
